Readers’ Advisory Spring Workshop

With lunch on your own following the morning workshop.
A library tour and book talk/signing will be offered later in the day.

Please join us for a special workshop facilitated by the one and only Nancy Pearl! This session will focus on defining, refining, and using the concept of “doorways into reading,” the role of mood and motivation in selecting a good book to read, ideas for displays, and tips and tricks to use in readers’ advisory work. Nancy will be signing her new book, George & Lizzie, immediately following the workshop. Books will be offered for sale onsite.


8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Registration and Networking

9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Workshop (includes 15 min. break)

12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Book Signing and Library Tour

Optional Author Talk and Book Signing (requires separate registration):
