Family Resource Centers & Public Libraries Learning from & Partnering with Each Other

January 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Family Resource Centers and public libraries have a lot in common- both are located throughout the state, serve the whole family, and have a special interest in supporting families to achieve their dreams.  It seems like a natural partnership, but one that may not always be fully developed.  This presentation will provide an opportunity to consider if connecting with your local Family Resource Center or Public Library could enhance your mission.  Two examples of work being done in Colorado communities where Family Resource Centers and Public Libraries are creating partnership will be shared.

Patty Velasquez, Family Resource Center Association; Becky Steenburg, Alamosa Public Library; Kirsten Dees, Pueblo City & County Library
