Fall Youth Services Workshops – Rawlings Public Library
November 9, 2017
Join us for a hands-on experience on how to plan, implement, and evaluate summer programming with end goals in mind. You’ll leave with a core set of practical skills to align your program to the goals you know are important to your community and customers. You can apply this way of thinking to just one event or a whole program. All of our examples will be based on music (the 2018 Collaborative Summer Library Program theme), but you can apply your new skills to any theme, and use them this summer and beyond.
You’ll get to network with your peers at different libraries, all workshops will include an exciting guest presentation about music, and lunch is included. The price for this wonderful experience: $0. Library staff and administration, volunteers, and students are welcome!
Note: There are 4 regional sessions of the same workshop, each with a unique guest presentation on music:
- October 17, 9:30-4:00, Eagle Public Library
- October 19, 9:30-4:00, Ridgway State Park
- November 9, 9:30-4:00, Rawlings Public Library in Pueblo
- November 13, 9:30-4:00, Anythink Wright Farms Library in Thornton
